The Sacraments

Confirmation deepens the grace of Baptism and strengthens the faithful through the Holy Spirit to live as witnesses of Christ.

Confession restores the love broken by sin. God our Father, with boundless mercy, grants forgiveness through this sacrament.

2. 2Recommended at least once every two months — or any time you feel the need
3. 3Regular confession advances our spiritual life
4. 4Through confession we receive forgiveness, guidance, and God’s grace to overcome temptations

This sacrament points to God’s care for the sick, prays for their healing, and grants release from illness and forgiveness of sins.

1. 1This sacrament is not only for those at the point of death — it is for any seriously ill person
2. 2It is the duty of the family to arrange for the seriously ill to receive this sacrament
3. 3The parish priest anoints the sick person with consecrated oil — strengthening faith and giving grace to overcome suffering
4. 4In case of sudden death emergency, call the parish priest immediately

Holy Orders calls one to serve as a bridge between God and people — to administer sacraments, preach the Gospel, and live as a full witness of Jesus Christ.

2. 2Pray regularly for your children to discern God’s calling as priests or nuns

Christian life is not destroyed by death. Dying with Christ means living with Christ. The Church accompanies the faithful from this life to eternal life with prayer and sacrament.

1. 1When someone dies, immediately inform the parish priest and register the death — grave arrangements must be made promptly
2. 2Full details about the deceased including cause of death must be provided to the parish priest
3. 3Funeral Mass is typically celebrated at 5:00 PM — book in advance
4. 4Payment for the grave must be made in advance. One grave per family. Fee for a pre-built grave: ₹25,000
5. 5Actions that diminish human dignity or Christian faith must not occur during funeral events — grief must be expressed with faith and dignity
